I've been building software where pharmacy meets technology since 1995.
Pharmacist, hospital pharmacy administrator, and founder of Bastean, LLC. Thirty years in retail and hospital pharmacy, academia, and pharmaceutical market access, now spent building AI products for the industry I came from.
PharmAiVA
Current product. The featured example of recent work.
Patients and clinicians now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity about prescription products before they ask anyone else. Most brand teams have no idea what those models are saying: whether the answers match the label, how competitors are positioned, where off-label or outdated information creeps in, and which sources the models are drawing from.
PharmAiVA measures it. The platform queries the major AI models the way a patient or prescriber would, scores the responses against the approved labeling and your own source material, and produces an AI visibility analysis with a prioritized action plan. The output is written for people who will have to take it through medical, legal, and regulatory review, not for a marketing agency.
It's built by a practicing pharmacist with a market access and reimbursement background, which is the difference between an AI vendor and someone who understands what a brand team can and cannot say.
Sample report
AI visibility analysis: IMMUNAVEX (izalimab)
The full 18-page deliverable a PharmAiVA cycle produces for one brand in one market, reproduced in its entirety for a fictional IL-23 inhibitor so you can judge the depth of the analysis before you see your own.
- 240 label-grounded queries across six audiences, put to nine AI targets
- Every answer graded against the approved prescribing information
- Competitive share of voice, label coverage map, and risk register
- A prioritized action plan tagged by MLR burden and effort

Illustrative sample. The product, its competitors, the label, and every score are invented for demonstration; no real product or AI platform behavior is represented.
